Hosted by WESNET, the Technology Safety Summit is the only conference in Australia that looks specifically at the intersection of technology and violence against women.
The conference will cover some of the latest trends seen, and what to do about technology facilitated abuse including GPS location tracking, image-based sexual abuse (colloquially referred to as “revenge porn”) and other emerging technologies.
As past attendees of WESNET SafetyNet training you may be interested in attending this conference which looks at more advanced issues in Technology-facilitated abuse.
Bringing together Domestic and Family Violence Practitioners, Legal and Justice, Government, and Corporate Technology Companies, the Summit will cover how technology is being misused by abusers, how women can harness technology and how we can use technology to help women.

The first of its kind in Australia, this one-day conference is supported by Telstra and the U.S. National Network to End Domestic Violence.

The speakers are technology safety experts from the USA and Australia.
