Women's journey - community art project - Month of action

WE are wanting women to be involved in this project - come to the women sessions at Bunnings to participate
Hi All,
Once again Reclaim the Night Collective will be teaming up with Bunnings to work  on some mosaics that will be used within the community to raise awareness of violence against women, its causes and our hopes for a more equitable world.

The workshops will be a chance for women to come together and create beautiful mosaics. No experience is necessary and there is no cost to participate.

We have worked with 2 wonderful community artists who have come up with some designs to represent these themes. One of the mosaics will be a street art installation and the other will tour neighbourhood houses.

Please see flyer for details of workshops at Waurn Ponds and Corio. We encourage you to register your interest quickly as these workshops have been popular in the past and fill up fast.

Children are welcome as long as they are supervised.

The flyer also contains details of a launch event for these artworks which all are welcome to attend.

Please share this email with other women and feel free to print out/stick up/distribute flyers.

cheers,

Reclaim the Night Collective Geelong
