As part of the Barwon Month of Action  “Stop Men's Violence Against Women”, and  in support of the Luke Batty Foundation the Zonta  Club of Geelong are  delighted to welcome Rosie Batty as guest speaker at  our dinner on the 5th November.
 
Rosie Batty has been described by Chief Commissioner Ken Lay as "a remarkable women. I have dealt with a lot of victims in my policing career but I've never met one who is so focused on turning her tragedy into a positive." Chief  Commissioner Lay has nominated Rosie for a  Pride of Australia Courage Medal.
 
Rosie is a remarkable woman and you will be inspired by her courage and dedication in the face of such tragic circumstances
